| Serving 6,000 to 7,000
students from pre-school to high school every year, "Tooth Talk"
is a popular program presented by third and fourth-year dental students
at Baylor College of Dentistry. BCD
students make educational presentations on a wide variety of subjects
related to oral health, including information about the dangers of tobacco.
Oral hygiene, nutrition, and tobacco information is given to children
in pre-school through grade six, and dentistry as a career choice is also
included in presentations to middle and high school students. |
